Schuylkill driver facing DUI count

A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident on Friday.

State police at Frackville said Ashley Macieunas, 49, of Mahanoy City, was stopped about 10 p.m. along Morea Road at East Spruce Street in Mahanoy Township. She was found to be under the influence of alcohol and placed under arrest. She was transported to the barracks and submitted to a breath test, which indicated she was over the legal limit of 0.08 percent. Charges will be filed.
