Schuylkill driver in Lehigh crash

A Schuylkill County driver was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Lehigh County in which the other driver was cited.

State police at Fogelsville said the crash occurred at 4:21 p.m. on Friday along Kecks Road in Weisenberg Township.

Troopers said Nina L. Weiss, 50, of Schnecksville, was driving a 2017 Jeep Cherokee southbound and attempting to cross over Old Route 22 after stopping at a stop sign. Weiss entered the intersection and her vehicle collided with a 2014 Toyota Camry driven by Nikole E. Darinsig, 18, of Tamaqua, who was westbound on Route 22.

Both drivers sustained suspected minor injuries and were treated at the scene by Cetronia ambulance personnel. Troopers cited Weiss for stop signs and yield signs.
