Schuylkill Football All Stars

The Schuylkill League Football All-League team was recently unveiled, and the Times News was well-represented on both the Division 1 and Division 2 squads.

Tamaqua’s Nate Boyle, along with North Schuylkill’s Jaden Leiby, was named Co-Offensive Player of the Year. Boyle was honored as a First Team all-star as an athlete, place kicker and linebacker.

The Raiders’ Matt Amodea was selected as the Offensive Lineman of the Year, while Jim Thorpe’s Dylan Dailey earned Defensive Lineman of the Year.

A total of 16 area players were recognized with All-League honors, with Tamaqua and Jim Thorpe leading the way with four apiece.
