Schuylkill man facing charges
A Schuylkill County man is facing charges following a search of his residence.
State police at Frackville said over the past few months several burglaries were reported in the Ringtown and East Union and Union township areas of Schuylkill County.
On Sept. 26 troopers executed a search warrant in the unit block of Iron Street, East Union Township, in reference to stolen items from the burglaries. Numerous items were confiscated including outdoor power equipment and hand tools. One of the stolen items matched an item taking in a Union Township burglary.
As a result troopers charged Michael Francis Jevelle, 31, with felony receiving stolen property and criminal use of a communication facility.
Anyone with any stolen items from their property in the Ringtown area that has not been reported to police is asked to call Trooper Joseph W. Hall at 570-874-5300.
