Schuylkill Personnel

During a meeting Wednesday, the Schuylkill County Commissioners approved the following personnel actions:

For the county prison, rescinded the March 27 termination of corrections officer Kyle Jones, Shenandoah, changing the termination to a resignation, effective March 27. Jones, who had been a full-time employee for about a year and a half, was fired during a special meeting convened in March.

The commissioners also approved the hiring of three part-time corrections officers, Taylor Haladay, Connor Laudenslager and Tiffany Tirado, all at $19.71 per hour. Two part-time officers, Patricia Pancerella and Cody Bettinger, transferred from part-time to full-time officers, at a rate of $22.34 per hour.

For tax assessment, approved the retirement of Dianne Ruscavage, Minersville and the transfer of Colleen Warmkessel from clerk typist 1 in tax claim to clerk typist 1 in tax assessment, at a rate of $13.71 per hour.
