Schuylkill prothonotary describes changes to office
Schuylkill County Prothonotary Bridget McGowan-Miller has taken steps to streamline the office, moves which were approved by the commissioners during a meeting Wednesday.
“Positions were created, and by creating them we further defined job duties by position,” McGowan-Miller said after the meeting. During the meeting, county Administrator Gary Bender discussed the changes.
“We took a look at job performances and descriptions,” Bender said. “It was matching that up to what people do.”

One Clerk III position was eliminated.
In other personnel moves, the commissioners rescinded last month’s firing of two county prison corrections officers, revising the change to resignations for Jennifer Crisafulli, of Minersville, and Jeffrey Moyer, of Pottsville.
