Schuylkill woman arrested for six break-ins at business

A Schuylkill County woman has been charged with six counts of burglary and related counts for entering the same business and stealing over $14,000 worth of merchandise. She also admitted to a retail theft incident.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said during the time frame of June 1 to Sept. 28 Danielle Breidigan, 36, of Schuylkill Haven, entered Trail Gardens Center, 154 Gordon Nagle Trail, in North Manheim Township, on six separate occasions removing over $14,750.35 worth of merchandise and damages to the property by making forced entries.

A search warrant was executed on Breidigan’s home and found were over 100 stolen items. Breidigan gave a full confession to participating in the burglaries, troopers said.

While confessing to these crimes she also confessed to a retail theft incident at the True Value store at 715 Market St., Orwigsburg, that occurred on Oct. 5 at 8:46 a.m. She admitted taking $32.30 worth of merchandise.

She was taken into custody and charged. She was arraigned on six counts of burglary, theft and criminal mischief and one count of retail theft.
