Sexual assault report investigated

State police at Lehighton reported they are investigating a sexual assault allegation.

Troopers said a 23-year-old woman from Gouldsboro, Monroe County, reported she was raped along Mountain View Drive in Polk Township, between 2 and 4:30 p.m. on May 26, Troopers said the investigation remains open.
