Shelter hopes to give cats homes for Christmas
Everybody likes to go home for the holidays, even cats.
Carbon County Friends of Animals is holding a special adoption event this month in hopes of finding homes for as many cats as possible.
“We love our fur-kids and we want to do our best to ensure that they have a family to call their own in time for Christmas,” CCFOA said in an email.
The adoption event will run through Jan 4.
The reduced adoption fee is $50 for kittens, $35 for adult cats, and $25 for senior adult cats.
Senior and adult cats have all been vaccinated, as well as spayed or neutered. Most of the kittens are also spayed or neutered and vaccinated before adoption.
All adoptions require a pre-adoption application, which can take 24-48 hours to approve.
