Slatington man injured in hit-and-run

A Slatington man was injured when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Lehigh County.

Upper Macungie Township police said the incident occurred about 4:40-4:50 a.m. on April 30. Police said Ta’Cory Barr, 29, was walking along the eastbound side of Schantz Road, near East Penn Storage, when he was struck by a vehicle. He sustained a head injury. Police said vehicle parts found at the scene were for a passenger side mirror of a box truck or tractor trailer/bobtail.
