Slatington police log

• Kathleen Barthol, 58, of the 100 block of Fifth Street, Slatington, was cited by borough police for public drunkenness after they were called to an incident at the Slatington Post Office, 605 Main St. on Sept. 27.

• When Slatington police were called at 7:19 p.m. Sept. 27 to assist with an emergency medical services call on South Walnut Street in the borough, the call resulted in an arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said John Stettner, 55, who lives at that address, was charged.

• Justin Kulls, 30, of East Fourth Street, Lehighton, is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia, following a traffic stop made by Slatington police at 11:38 p.m. Sept. 28.

The stop was made in the 100 block of Main Street after police noticed the vehicle Kulls was driving did not have properly working rear lights.

• Charity Herman, 43, of Willow Avenue, Slatington, was arrested by borough police for driving under the influence of a controlled substance after she was stopped for operating a motor vehicle without rear lights at 1:11 a.m. Oct. 1.

Police said she was stopped in the parking lot of the D&L trail along Willow Avenue.

• Pamela Buss, 52, of Coplay, was cited by Slatington police for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after an incident at 7:07 p.m. Oct. 7 in the 600 block of Main Street in the borough.

Police said she was in an intoxicated state while standing and yelling in the middle of traffic.

• Joe Baldomero-Aponte, 32, of the 400 block of Church Street, was issued four citations by borough police after a traffic stop made at 10:26 p.m. Oct. 26 in the 100 block of Fifth Street in the borough.

He is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, driving while under suspension, driving without a license and operating a vehicle with improper rear lighting requirements.

• Brooke Huntington, 40, of the 4000 block of Long Run Road, Lehighton, was cited by Slatington police for possession of drug paraphernalia, rear lighting requirements and failure to show a registration card upon demand after a traffic stop at 11:43 p.m. Nov. 3.

The stop was made in the 500 block of West Church Street.

• Joshua Gross, 33, of the 400 block of West Church Street, Slatington, is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop made by Slatington police at 2:10 a.m. Nov. 4.

He was stopped in the 8000 block of Route 873.

• Robert Winland, 33, of the 200 block of East Franklin Street in Slatington, was cited by borough police with loitering and prowling at night at 9:55 p.m. Oct. 10.

Police said the incident took place in the 900 block of Main Street.
