Slatington police report on arrests
Slatington police reported on the following arrests made by officers.
• At 1:18 a.m. Feb. 1 officers responded to the 800 block of Middle Alley for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Found at the scene was Jessica Carlson, 31, of 1343 South Blvd., Bethlehem. As a result of an investigation Carlson was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.
• On Feb. 13 at 11:05 p.m. a vehicle stop was conducted along Dowell Street. The driver was identified as Hannah Dilts, 19, of 916 S. 24th St., Easton. As a result of the stop Dilts has been charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, false identification to law enforcement and driving under suspension.
At the same stop Wayne Gayle, 43, of 1139 Butler St., Easton, a passenger, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
• Also on Feb. 13, at 2:06 p.m., a wanted person arrest was made. Alex Haley, 36, of 251 Main St., Slatington, was taken into custody. As a result of a pat-down search, he has been charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana.
• On Feb. 23, at 7:22 p.m. police were dispatched to 403 W. South St., for a report of a man destroying items inside the residence. On scene officers located the man leaving the residence. He was identified as Jeffrey Berger, 34, of that address. As a result, police charged him with defiant trespass, disorderly conduct, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness.
