Snow to begin after 9 p.m.
A light accumulating snow is expected tonight with the highest amounts in the Lehigh Valley/Berks County, northwestern New Jersey and the Poconos. Hazardous travel is possible and there could be some impact on the Friday morning commute.
For Saturday and Sunday, a significant winter storm moves across our region, however the details including precipitation types and impacts are still uncertain. A significant snow accumulation is probable across the southern Poconos and northern New Jersey. A flash freeze will occur on wet surfaces later Sunday afternoon and night as arctic air rapidly overspreads our area.
Dangerous wind chills will occur Sunday night through Tuesday.

Tonight: Snow, mainly after 9 p.m. Low around 25. Southeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Friday: Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 39. Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph in the afternoon.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 25. Northwest wind 5 to 7 mph.
Saturday: Snow, mainly after 1 p.m. High near 32. Light and variable wind becoming east 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Saturday Night: Snow. Low around 29. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent.
Sunday: Snow. High near 31. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent.
