St. Luke’s offers diabetes support

St. Luke’s University Health Network hosts diabetes support groups at its new facility in Lehighton and at St. Luke’s Miners Campus in Coaldale Participants will learn about the causes and effects of the disease; ideas to increase self-help, problem solving and prevention measures; and provide encouragement.

The next meeting will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Aug. 21 in the community room at St. Luke’s Miners in Coaldale.

The next session in Lehighton will be 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 10 at the Lehighton Medical Center, 575 S. Ninth St.
