Abelina Barra is the marketing assistant for the Times News. She lives in Saylorsburg where she loves to take long walks with her Siberian Husky, Tsuki.

A graduate of Penn State University, Main Campus in public relations and advertising, Abelina hopes to use her skills to maintain positive relationships with the newspaper and the community. She also obtained a minor in both English and philosophy, with strong interests in writing.

When she is not working, Abelina spends her free time reading, writing short stories and playing strategy games with her friends. Her favorite book is “Pride and Prejudice” by Jane Austen.
