Danielle Derrickson, who answers to her nickname "Danni," is a reporter with the Times News. She recently moved to Pennsylvania from Tacoma, Washington, where she lived for the past decade.

She graduated from the University of Washington Tacoma with a Bachelor of Arts in communication, and spent the summer as a reporting intern at The Olympian, a local newspaper based in Washington’s capital.

As a general assignment reporter, she is covering Palmerton and community happenings on Saturdays.
