State police — mischief incidents

State police at Lehighton report the following mischief incidents:

• A criminal mischief incident that was reported on Aug. 1 in Weissport is being investigated.

The resident reported someone caused $200 in damaged to his vehicle while it was in the 300 block of White Street.

• Police are investigating a criminal mischief incident that was reported at 3:15 p.m. July 21.

The incident happened in Penn Forest Township when someone used a tool to smash out the rear driver’s side window of a vehicle owned by a woman from York before leaving the scene in an unknown direction.

Police said nothing was taken from the vehicle.
