State Police at Fern Ridge
State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported on the following incidents:
• A charge of scattering rubbish has been filed against Ramiksh Deljeet, 58, of Saylorsburg, as a result of an incident at the West End Regional Park, Merwine Hilltop Drive, Chestnuthill Township.
Police were summoned at 10:08 p.m. July 7 when a pile of household waste was discovered.
Police said the investigation revealed Deljeet was the last known possessor of the waste.
• Police are investigating a criminal mischief incident that happened between 11:30 p.m. July 4 and 10 p.m. July 5 at 303 Pennbrook Road, Jackson Township.
The victim is Eudura U. Greaves, 79, of 464 S. Ninth St., Lehighton, who reported someone damaged her mailbox, resulting in the handle falling off of it.
• Police are investigating the theft of lawn maintenance equipment in Chestnuthill Township.
The incident happened between July 2-3 at the Chestnuthill Park, Route 715, when someone stole a leaf blower, a gas trimmer and a hedge trimmer (all Stihl products) from a shed at the park.
