State police at Lehighton — arrests

State police at Lehighton reported on the following arrests. Troopers did not release the names of those arrested.

• A 33-year-old male from Kunkletown was stopped along Greenhill Road in Polk Township, Monroe County, on Saturday about 7:29 p.m. for traffic violations. Troopers learned the suspect had an active warrant for his arrest out of Monroe County for drug related charges. He also showed signs of impairment and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.

Charges will be filed.

• On Sunday at 12:46 a.m., a vehicle was stopped along Route 443 in Mahoning Township for a vehicle code violation. Troopers said the suspect was under the influence of a controlled substance. Charges are pending test results.
