State police report domestic incidents

State police at Lehighton investigated the following incidents:

•A Carbon County woman is facing charges following an incident that occurred at 2:27 p.m. Sept. 8.

Police responded to Bayberry Road in Penn Forest Township for a report of a domestic incident. During the investigation Danielle Jafraty, 22, of Lehighton, physically shoved several people. She was cited for harassment, troopers said.

• A Carbon County man has been cited for allegedly slapping a young girl.

State police said a complainant came to the barracks on Sept. 9 about 5:30 p.m. to report a domestic incident that happened between her daughter, age 12, and cousin on Penn Street in Franklin Township.

Further investigation revealed that Jonathan Strohl, 29, of Lehighton, slapped the complainant’s daughter on the mouth. He was issued a citation for harassment.
