State police at Schuylkill Haven

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following incidents:

• Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred in a parking lot at the Fairlane Village Mall in Norwegian Township. Troopers said a parked 2010 Ford Escape was struck by another vehicle. The driver then fled the scene. The incident was reported at 8:11 p.m. on Saturday.

• Police said a 37-year-old Cressona resident reported his unlocked 2013 Chevrolet Malibu was entered while parked along Walnut Street. Taken was a camouflage Air Force bag, a brass hammer, an aluminum pipe wrench and a Garmin truck GPS. The theft was reported on Aug. 10. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-754-4600.
