Step-Up to talk about opioid crisis

Dr. Joanne Calabrese will talk on the opioid crisis from a physician’s perspective at 7 p.m. on Monday, at Founders Hall, Trinity United Church of Christ, 24 Lafayette St. in Tamaqua.

Calabrese’s presentation is hosted by Step-Up Tamaqua, a group of citizens whose goal is to address the opioid crisis and educate the public about addiction and recovery issues.

Founders Hall is on the ground floor of Trinity. Parking is available at the rear of the church.

The public is encouraged to attend.
