Support Semmel for Carbon prothonotary
Dear Voters of Carbon County,
It gives me great pleasure to offer my support to Kayla Semmel, candidate for Carbon County prothonotary. I’ve known Kayla for many years and have seen her progress from college student and graduate to teacher, advocate for those in need, wife, mother and, now, candidate for public office. She is committed to our community and freely donates her time in support of several charitable causes, most recently promoting a fundraiser for a charity connecting service dogs with veterans in need, and as a board member and volunteer for Family Promise of Carbon County.
Kayla is an intelligent woman and someone who is sure to be successful in whatever she endeavors to accomplish. During this election year, I had the privilege of working with Kayla as we canvassed the county knocking on doors. She demonstrated teamwork, professionalism, respect, integrity, energy and a positive attitude in all her interactions with residents.
All of these qualities will serve her well in public office and assist her in earning the respect of the county employees, residents, the Court, and the legal community. Kayla intends to improve the efficiency and accessibility of services performed by the prothonotary’s office for the benefit of the community and the court. Electronic processes will benefit the court and the attorneys interacting with the office, and online access to the public will reduce the need to physically appear in the office to file documents. Kayla has the education and the drive to make a substantial contribution to the prothonotary’s office. Please join me and cast your vote in support of Kayla Semmel for Carbon County Prothonotary on Nov. 5.
