Suspect sought in domestic assault

State police at Frackville are looking for a Schuylkill County man wanted on charges of strangulation and simple assault.

Troopers said at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday they responded to a residence along Center Street in East Union Township for a domestic assault. They said Victor Maisonet, 29, of Sheppton, had choked the victim. Maisonet had left the scene prior to the arrival of police. Charges have been filed. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Maisonet is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
