Suspicious vehicle leads to charges

The investigation of a suspicious vehicle led to the arrest of two people on drug charges.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said at 11:36 p.m. Aug. 23 officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked along Bus Road in Tobyhanna Township. On scene the officers found the vehicle and two people inside. It was apparent the two were using narcotics, police said.

The two were identified as Joshua Greenhagen, 23, of Long Pond, and Justin Augustine, 23, of Pocono Pines. A consent search was granted and found in the vehicle was suspected marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia.

As a result the two were charged with possession of a controlled substance, criminal conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia.
