Tamaqua breakfast mixer to focus on opioid fight
The Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce will host its next breakfast mixer at 8 a.m. on Thursday at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center, 125 Pine St.
This month’s topic will be the “St. Luke’s Community Opioid Response Program,” a program that deals with plans for prevention, treatment and recovery and the affect on the workplace. Guest speakers will be Rosemarie Lister, Micah Gursky and Kerri Quick, all members of St. Luke’s University Hospital’s rural response team.
