Tamaqua grad Schellhammer named PSAC Central Player of the Week
Lock Haven freshman Jada Schellhammer recently was named PSAC Central Pitcher of the Week.
The Tamaqua graduate was the pitcher of the record in both of Lock Haven’s weekend victories. Overall, she was 2-1 with three starts and three complete games. She had six strikeouts as she made her official Bald Eagle debut during Week 1 of the 2020 season.
Schellhammer went the distance in a win over Southern Connecticut State, the first win of her college career. In a win over Goldey-Beacom, she registered three strikeouts and scattered six hits. Schellhammer allowed only walk in the win over GBC.
Lock Haven sophomore outfielder Mikayla Ruppert from Liberty was also named the PSAC Central Player of the Week.
