Tamaqua Halloween Parade

October is nearly halfway over, which means it’s time for the Tamaqua Halloween Parade.

This year’s event, hosted by the Tamaqua Lions Club, will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 22. The parade has been a staple of Tamaqua for over 50 years. This year’s Grand Marshal is Matt Hope, of Hope’s Collision & 24 Hour Towing.

Get the kids ready to catch some candy in those trick-or-treat buckets, as more than 100 floats and trucks are expected to be at the parade. The registration deadline is Oct. 17.
