Tamaqua intern completes stained glass study

    The process to create ornate stained glass windows such as those adorning Tamaqua’s Victorian architecture is no longer a mystery to Daisy Mae Valentine, 22, of Tamaqua. The intern at the Tamaqua Community Art Center has completed a summer residence program specializing in the art of stained glass at Touchstone Center for Crafts in Farmington, south of Pittsburgh.
