Tamaqua man cited for mischief

A Tamaqua man was charged with criminal mischief after police said he punched a hole in a shared wall in a duplex on Gay Street.

Jan Laurenti, 58, told police the neighbor had been harassing him and stealing his mail. The neighbor, the victim, denied any such action.

Damage to the wall was estimated at $250.
