Tamaqua man litters in Schuylkill Township

Published October 20. 2017 11:23AM

A Tamaqua man was charged with littering after Schuylkill Township police investigated a pile of trash dumped in the area of the Union Street Cemetery in Brockton.

An officer on patrol noticed the trash, which included vehicle shocks, rotors, a shipping box and receipts. While the name on the shipping box was illegible, the officer was able to use other evidence to identify the person who received the box.

When contacted, the man admitted the material was his and quickly removed the litter.
