Tamaqua man sentenced in indecent assault case
A Tamaqua man will spend nine to 23 months on Schuylkill County prison after admitting to two counts each of indecent assault and corruption of minors.
Dwayne D. Faust, 47, is to report to the jail at 9 a.m. Sept. 30 to begin his sentence.
Additional charges of two counts each of indecent assault-forcible compulsion, indecent assault without the consent of the other, and indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age were dropped.
Judge John E. Domalakes said Faust is a Tier III sexual offender, and must register under Megan’s Law for life. Domalakes also ordered Faust to submit a DNA sample and to have no contact with his victims.
Faust was charged by Tamaqua police on July 3, 2017.
