Tamaqua middle school students honored by Schuylkill commissioners
Members of the Tamaqua Area Middle School student council attended the Schuylkill County Commissioners meeting on Oct. 10 to participate in two proclamations made by the commissioners. The board designated Oct. 27 as Make A Difference Day in Schuylkill County. In a second proclamation, the commissioners extended appreciation to the Tamaqua Area Middle School student council on the celebration of its 20th year of participation in Schuylkill Make A Difference Day.
