Tamaqua moving junior high girls basketball to winter
The Tamaqua Area School District will be changing seasons for its junior high girls basketball program.
Beginning with the 2019-20 winter season, Tamaqua’s 7/8th grade girls basketball program will play its competitive season in the winter, rather than the fall.
Additionally, the Tamaqua 7-8th grade girls basketball program will conduct tryouts, practices and competitions at the times similar to the boys basketball programs.
