Primitive Methodist
Pastor Rick Clemson will officiate at the 10:45 a.m. worship service this Sunday in American Primitive Methodist Church. Sunday school classes are held at 9:30 a.m.

Tamaqua Borough
Borough office will be closed Dec. 26 and Jan. 1 and 2.
Recycling will be picked up on Dec. 28 and Saturday, Jan. 4.
Bethany EC
The Rev. Kevin Roberts will officiate at the 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. worship services this Sunday in Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church. Sunday Life groups meet at 9:30 a.m.
Activities for the next week include: Monday, Dec. 30, 5:30 p.m. Women’s Step study; 5:45 p.m. Men’s Step study; 6:30 p.m. Celebrate Recovery; Jan. 3, 6 p.m. Worship practice.
St. John
The Rev. Phyllis Wolford will officiate at the 9:15 a.m. Sunday service in St. John’s Lutheran Church. There will be no Sunday school or confirmation classes this week.
The bell choir will meet at 8 a.m. on Jan. 5. Worship and music will meet Jan. 6 at 3:30 p.m.
Calvary Lewistown
The Rev. Susan Moore will officiate at the 10:25 a.m. worship service this Sunday in Calvary Evangelical Methodist Church in the Lewistown Valley. Sunday school classes are held at 9:15 a.m. The Christmas musical cantata by the community choir will be held at 6:30 p.m.
Zion Lewistown
Pastor Jim Williams will officiate at the 10:30 a.m. service this Sunday in Zion Church, Lewistown Valley. Sunday school classes are scheduled for 9:15 a.m. Coffee and pastries will be available in the lobby before the service.
The budget committee meeting will meet on Monday, Dec. 30 at 9 a.m.
