Trinity UCC
Trinity United Church of Christ, 22 Lafayette St., will hold a breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. on May 18. The meal will include pancakes, scrambles eggs, sausage, coffee, tea and juice. There is a fee.
There will also be an Election Day pork and sauerkraut dinner available for purchase on May 21 from 4 p.m. until sellout. Takeout is available.
St. John Lutheran
The Rev. Phyllis Wolford will preside at the Sunday morning worship, St. John’s Lutheran Church Tamaqua, 200 E. Mauch Chunk St., at 9:15 a.m. May 19, the fifth Sunday of Easter.
Chancel and Angel Choir recognition during worship. Sunday school, 10:30 a.m., bell choir practice 8 a.m.
May 20 church council 7 p.m.; Wednesday, finance, 6:30 p.m.
Calvary Lewistown
The Rev. Susan Moore will officiate at the 10:25 a.m. worship service this Sunday in Calvary Evangelical United Methodist Church in the Lewistown Valley. Sunday school classes are held at 9:15 a.m. There will be a Sunday evening service at 6:30 p.m. with completion of the video series.
May 22 is the prayer meeting at 7 p.m.
May 26 at 10:25 a.m. will be a special Memorial Day worship service remembering and honoring America’s history and present. This service will be a combined services with Calvary and Zion churches, followed by the sharing of “carry-in” food at a luncheon at the Zion social hall.
