Tamaqua Salvation Army fire investigation

All four fire companies were on the scene this afternoon at a fire in the Salvation Army building in Tamaqua.

The fire was first discovered just after 4 p.m. and when firefighters arrived on scene they found heavy smoke coming from the second and third floors of the structure.

Broad street, Route 209 was closed.
