Teen charged with damaging farmland
State police at Lehighton barracks said a 17-year-old juvenile from Effort is facing charges of agricultural vandalism after an incident at 4:55 p.m. Friday.
The incident happened on an agricultural field owned by an 81-year-old Kunkletown man and located at Polk and Harrity roads in Polk Township.
Police said the juvenile drove his vehicle through the field, causing an estimated $2,500 in damages.
