Theft of wedding ring investigated

State police at Lehighton are investigating the reported theft of a wedding ring.

Troopers said on Friday Robert Vickery, 24, of Palmerton, arrived at the barracks to report his wedding ring was stolen from the 600 block of Fireline Road in Bowmanstown. He said he last saw the ring at 3 p.m. April 13 and noticed it missing at 9 a.m. on Friday. The band is a size 5, of white gold with diamond inserts. The ring is valued at $1,998.
