Jim Thorpe posted a shutout in a Connie Mack league game on Monday.

James Lordi pitched a one-hit shutout and Jim Thorpe rolled to its fourth straight victory, defeating Moore Township, 13-0.

Lordi struck out seven and tossed no-hit ball for 4 1/3 innings. He also received plenty of support from his offense.

Jared Joyce went 4-for-4 at the plate and knocked in four runs. Lordi helped his own cause with a double, triple, and two RBIs.

The winners also received two hits from both Jared Marykwas and Spencer Hunsicker, while Evan Dart contributed a two-run single.

With the win, Jim Thorpe improved to 5-4.
