Tire falls off car, causing crash

State police at Stroudsburg investigated a one-vehicle crash at 4:21 p.m. on Monday along Route 33 in Hamilton Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Demond L. Moore, 46, of Effort, was driving a 1996 Chervolet Caprice northbound when the front driver side tire fell off the vehicle. The Caprice hit the guide rail on the left side.

Moore had a minor injury and was treated at the scene by West End ambulance personnel. The vehicle was towed.
