The board approved the 2018 tax levy, with all rates remaining the same. The real estate tax is set at 2 mills, the earned income tax is set at 1 percent split between the school district and the township, the real estate transfer tax is half of the 1 percent effective rate to the township, the local services tax is $10, and the per capita tax is $5.
Garbage collection rates for 2018 were set at $190 for families, $125 for senior couples, $105 for single seniors, deployed military personnel, and veterans with 100 percent military disability.
