Traffic stop leads to wanted person

A vehicle stop by officers of the Pocono Mountain Regional police led to the arrest of a wanted person.

Police said about 1:10 a.m. on Saturday officers stopped a vehicle at Sullivan Trail and Panther Lane, for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as Bobby D. Taylor, 39, of Coolbaugh Township.

A check revealed there was an active warrant for his arrest issued out of Monroe County. He was taken into custody and placed in the county prison in Snydersville on the warrant.
