Truck hits power line in Tamaqua, knocks out electricity

A young man driving a Penske rental truck accidentally hit the tension wire at the intersection of Bowe and  Mahanoy streets in Tamaqua. The tension wire then snapped a power pole in half, leaving the top of the pole and transformer hanging over Mahanoy Street.
