Two defendants who failed to appear at the county prison to begin jail terms entered guilty pleas in Carbon County court on Monday.
Shaina Marie Poshefko, 33, of Lansford, and Tyler Jacob Palermo, 25, of Nesquehoning, both pleaded to one count each to default in required appearance.

She is currently serving the original sentence imposed. Serfass ruled the probation period is consecutive to that sentence.
