Two charged in custody fight

Two people were cited following a domestic incident that occurred on Monday.

State police at Lehighton said troopers were dispatched about 10:23 a.m. to a residence along Silver Fox Drive in Polk Township, Monroe County, for domestic incident involving a child. Upon arrival it was determined that the incident occurred as a result of a child custody exchange during which the father, a 30-year-old from Kresgeville, mother, a 30-year-old from Palmerton, and grandmother, a 57-year-old from Kresgeville, were engaged in a physical altercation between one another. No injuries were reported.

The parents were both cited for harassment - physical contact. Troopers declined to identify the two charged.
