Two injured in Walker motorcycle crash

Two people were injured Saturday afternoon, one seriously in a motorcycle crash in Walker Township.

The crash occurred at 3 p.m. along Catawissa Road just south of the intersection with Shady Lane.

A man was treated at the scene by members of the Tamaqua ambulance and transported to a local trauma center.

A woman was seriously injured being treated by two Schuylkill  EMS paramedic units before being flown by MedEvac helicopter to the St. Luke's hospital trauma center.

State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
