Two-vehicle crash in Schuylkill

One driver was cited in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 5:43 p.m. on Tuesday along Route 183 at Summer Hill Road in Wayne Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Guy R. Fessler, 85, of Auburn, was northbound in a 2009 Toyota Corolla and in the left turn lane. Troopers said Fessler attempted to turn left without proper clearance and his vehicle struck a southbound 2003 Dodge Dakota pickup driven by Michael A. Sychterz, 48, of Cressona.

No one was injured but both vehicles had to be towed. Fessler was cited for the crash.
