Update: 2-4 inches of snow Tuesday
The National Weather Service says snow is likely from Tuesday into Tuesday evening with accumulations of 2 to 4 inches expected.
According to Accuweather, aAn Alberta clipper storm will bring enough snow to create slippery travel and some disruptions to daily routines will fall along a nearly 1,500-mile-long swath from the northern Plains to the Northeast. Ski enthusiasts and snow removal companies will welcome the fresh snow.
"Across much of the Midwest, we expect a general 1-3 inches of snow with this storm," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Alan Reppert said. "There can be a bit more accumulation near the Great Lakes with lake-effect snow included."
