Vehicle code violation leads to DUI arrest

A 28-year-old East Stroudsburg man is facing charges of driving under the influence of drugs after he was stopped for a Motor Vehicle Code violation at 12:06 p.m. Oct. 8 at the intersection of Interchange Road and Sei Pike Lane in Towamensing Township.

Police said the stop yielded that the man was driving under the influence of a controlled substance. The charges will be filed pending receipt of laboratory test results.
